When a Victoria Jade jewelry product or diamond is bought, a percentage of proceeds goes towards the Hold The Space program. We also work to raise funds for sustainability projects that can provide our partner organizations essentials like food, clean water and/or a source of income. The Hold The Space mission is set up to first ensure that children’s basic needs are met, then implementing the mentoring programs within these underprivileged communities. We hope to highlight important issues underprivileged youth are facing and find ways to solve these problems.
Hold the Space is committed to partnering with corporate donors to establish sustainability projects that can generate continued funding for our partner organizations.

Victoria Laing, the founder of Victoria Jade, has always been passionate about giving back to children in need. Growing up in Africa, she had the opportunity to visit many orphanages. The key element that stuck with her from her visits is that – although these children are provided for in terms of food, clothing and (usually) a basic education – they have no mentors or role models to guide them through their lives, no one to advise them on a suitable career path, or help them go out into the ‘big wide world’. Victorias dream of starting a non-profit organisation to assist these children has been realised – with this, the creation of Hold the Space, a non-profit organisation registered in the Republic of South Africa.
We believe that change is possible and can happen against all odds.
The aim of Hold The Space is to bridge the gap between children living in underprivileged communities with potential mentors and sponsors around the world. We believe that if these children knew that there was someone there for them, motivating them, backing them up and ultimately Holding The Space for them in what ever they do and hope to achieve – it will give them a greater chance to live out their dreams, with a prosperous future.
